Soccer Clinics
If you're looking to improve your football skills while having a great time, Aston Villa's soccer clinics are the place to be.
The courses last for 5 weeks and at only £15 per child these courses are great value!
The courses are taught by Aston Villa's very own FA qualified Community Coaches. The content varies based on age and both boys and girls are welcome to join.
Course Content - Ages 4 - 6
Introduction to football, rules of the game, dribbling, turns, running with the ball, shooting, heading and small sided games
Course Content - Ages 7 - 9
Introduction to football, rules of the game, dribbling, turns, running with the ball, shooting, heading and small sided games
Course Content - Ages 10 - 12
Introduction to football, rules of the game, dribbling, turns, running with the ball, shooting, heading and small sided games
The courses take place at the following 5 locations across Birmingham:
Villa Park
Aston
Blue Coat School
Edgbaston
Bishop Vesey Grammer School
Sutton Coldfield
Grove Vale Primary School
Great Barr

Soccer Schools
Want to learn how to play like Gabby?
Come take part in one of our Soccer Schools!
Aston Villa Soccer Schools provide children with a fun, safe, and rewarding environment to learn new skills and practise their techniques. Welcoming both boys and girls, children will learn various aspects of football through specially designed practises and small sided games.
Children are taught by Aston Villa's own FA qualified coaches giving them the opportunity to enjoy the full Aston Villa experience whilst at the same time the opportunity to make new friends. As an added incentive, boys and girls that show the potential to follow in the footsteps of Gabby Agbonlahor and Nathan Delfuonso will be offered additional training at our Talent Development Centre.
Soccer Schools courses will include
- Skills coaching
- Small sided games and other football activities
- The chance to test your shot on Aston Villa's fabulous speedcage
- A skills challenge, where every child can follow his/her progress through our points scoring system
The courses last up to 5 days during the week and are offered for 2 key age groups at the following prices:
Ages 4-6 years (mini kickers) for only £25/week (5 day course)
Ages 7-14 years (Ages 7-12 years only in the Academy Building Villa Park) for only £50/week (5 day course)
Soccer Schools take place during the following school holidays:
- October Half-term
- Christmas break
- February Half-term
- Easter Break
- Witsun Break
- Summer Holidays
Soccer Schools take place in the Academy Building at Villa Park along with several other venues across Birmingham.
Please note that venue locations, duration, times and the maximum number of children vary through the different holiday sessions.
